This was a shorter day than I had planned. I couldn't get reservations at Lakeville where I had planned so I found a B&B In Norfolk which was 13 less miles. As it turned out, I lucked out for several reasons. The day was harder than I expected. There was a 25mph head wind and there were some serious mountains to climb. I barely got here before dark. I never would have made it to Lakeville.
The day was sunny although cool. I kept grinding away at the climbs.
Today there is a quiz. The winnere gets the prize. Check out the first picture. There is a fork in the road. One road goes up and the other goes down. Which one do I have to take. In the event of a tie, there will be no prize awarded as I only have one.
I am not going to write much tonight as my bed is calling and I have another long day tomorrow. It will also be the last day I ride solo as my friends will start joining me starting with Meiri on Friday!!!
I see that everyone guessed that I had to take the roaed that went up so there is no winner as everybody tied!!!!
"At an intersection, when in doubt which way to turn, the rider should always pedal uphill, into the wind, or--preferably--both!"
